Privacy Policy

EFFECTIVE: JULY 28, 2026 // APPLIES TO ALL XEPTION IO APPS AND GAMES

Xeption IO ("we", "us") builds apps and games, including Sprintle. This policy explains what data our products handle and what we do with it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the games, we do not run ads, we do not sell your data, and you can delete your account at any time.

What we collect

  • Account information. If you register, we store your username, email address, and a securely hashed version of your password. You can also play as a guest without creating an account, in which case none of this is stored.
  • Gameplay data. Points, games played, wins, and leaderboard standings tied to your account. Usernames and scores appear on public leaderboards.
  • Purchase status. If you buy a premium upgrade, we store a flag that your account owns it. Payments are processed by the App Store, Google Play, or Stripe together with RevenueCat. We never see or store your card details.
  • Messages you send. In-game chat messages are delivered to the players in your room and are not retained after the room closes.

What we do not do

  • No advertising and no ad networks.
  • No selling or renting of personal data, ever.
  • No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
  • No collection of contacts, location, photos, or anything else from your device.

Emails

We send transactional email only: account verification and password resets, delivered through Resend. We do not send marketing email.

Where your data lives

Account and gameplay data is stored on our servers and kept only as long as your account exists. Session tokens are kept in your browser or device storage so you stay signed in; they expire after 30 days.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time (Profile, then Delete account). This permanently removes your account, stats, and group memberships, and detaches any purchase records. If you cannot sign in, email us and we will delete it for you.

Children

Our products are made for a general audience and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. Meaningful changes will be called out in the apps.
